Stephanie.

the first monday of may is quickly becoming the biggest fashion event of the year. the annual met gala has just taken place and we saw some LOOKS.
this years theme was "heavenly bodies: fashion and the catholic imagination" which i thought some celebs really hit the mark with and others not so much?!
but at the same time i am loving the celebs that embraced theme in a simplistic way.

KIM KARDASHIAN WEST in Versace

the kardashian/jenners are always the ones i look out for on the red carpet and this year they once again lived up to my expectations.
kimmy served us a gold Versace number with embellished crosses on the front. she looked soooo good and definitely fit the 'heavenly body' theme in that dress.

KENDALL JENNER in Virgil Abloh

kendall looked like a saint in her white jumpsuit. lets just take a moment to appreciate the sleeves!!!
i really think she nailed this look and the theme in a simplistic way

BLAKE LIVELY in Versace

blake lively is officially the met gala QUEEN. every year she is my favourite look and every year she nails the theme. the crown the dress the makeup, everything was perfect.
she really can't go wrong.

ARIANA GRANDE in Vera Wang

ariana is literally #goals. she always kills it on her red carpet looks and this years met gala was no different. i think that she can pull off anything and trust her to pull off the sistine chapel. can we also talk about her glam and tan, yasss.

RIHANNA in Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano

i feel like rhianna always brings it for met ball every year. i mean can you do any better then going as the pope, amazing!! although i don't think it was the most flattering outfit but she definitely a fit the theme.

HAILEY BALDWIN in Tommy Hilfieger

hailey and shawn my heart!!! they were so cute together and hailey looked gorgeous. i don't think she really fit the theme but nonetheless she looked flawless.

21!!
as they celebrations are now officially over i thought i would share what wonderful gifts i was spoiled with for my birthday this year.
this year was definitely one of my best birthdays ever, it was filled with two weekends away and ENDLESS cake.

from my boyfriend i received a Tiffany ring and my first Louis Vuitton purse (que tears of joy). he also spoiled me with flowers and a donut bouquet!!!! honestly every year he just keeps topping the presents but i don't think he can do any better than this year, perfect!! love him.

with some money i received, i picked out a Tiffany necklace which i had my eye on for a while. its so cute and i love the tiffany blue. i  also wanted to pick out something that was special and sentimental to my 21st.

i had a small family gathering on the day after my birthday which i made a cake for that semi worked opps. my aunty and cousin gifted me two gorgeous items from Mimco; a rose gold bangle and some rose gold earrings.

bae also managed to get me the most craziest gift; Cards Against Muggles. i didn't even know this was a real thing but i am SO excited to play, i can see it being endless fun.

my boyfriends brother and his girlfriend (love them) spoiled me with the KKW creme lip set!! i have literally been wanting these for ages and i am so happy i finally get to play around with these.
they also got the Too Face sweet peach glow palette which i somehow have never seen before???! but i am definitely looking forward to trying it out and that blush is too die for!

to continue the makeup trend, my sister got me the Stila 'mind' palette which is all matte. i really like a good matte shadow and haven't tried any Stila products before so this was definitely an exciting edition to my palette collection. so far i really like the pigment and there are so many useable shades (normally i find palettes that only have 4-6 shades i will actually use but i would use all of the shades in this palette)

my parents got me a 21st pandora charm and are putting money towards my cruise in november!

in a weird way it doesn't even feel like my birthday happened even though we went to melbourne for it and had multiple celebrations, it all just went so quick. but i am intrigued to find out what 21 has in store for me and what i can achieve this year!

Third Stop: Mystery Island Vanuatu
Fourth Stop: Mare New Caledonia
Last Stop: Noumea New Caledonia
overall this cruise was amazing and i would do it again in a heartbeat.
my favourite spot was definitely Mystery Island in Vanuatu,  i have never been anywhere so beautiful in my life. the sea is so clear and pristine. i can't believe the range of sea life we saw whilst snorkeling, i am about 99% sure i saw every fish in Finding Nemo (#goals). it was just really nice to be on a secluded island where no one lived and that is completely free of power and buildings and to just enjoy the scenery and only have the ocean to be distracted by.
