Stephanie.

BLUSH! is the colour right now. I am obsessed!!!! if it is pink or blush i want it, just ask my boyfriend- his response every time i ask him if i should get something in this colour is "it looks exactly like the other one you have" well duh!!! *i am slightly getting him onboard though; he now refers to blush as "my" colour (score). This post is dedicated to everything blush i am loving at the moment

Topshop Longline Hoodie $65 AUD
i purchased this hoodie just before Topshop shut down here in SA and i am so sad about it :( but i did managed to pick up the last one of this jumper. i don't usually wear longline tops as I'm pretty short but this one works especially for winter. i have been styling it with mom jeans and either vans or converse, it is soooo comfy so that is definitely a bonus.

Missguided Pink Long Sleeve Turtle Neck Bodysuit $24.95 AUD
this bodysuit is not only super affordable but also sooo versatile. I have been dressing this both up and down for daywear and nights out (which are rare). i definitely think this is a staple for any wardrobe especially in this colour!!! (side note the quality is not amazing but definitely worth the price)

Cotton On Body Super Soft Jumper $29.95 AUD (no longer online in pictured colour)
living for this on these cold winter nights!! i picked this jumper up when i was just shopping for "cozy clothes" and cozy it is. was quite surprised of the quality considering the price but Cotton On Body are usually good for that

Stussy Crop Short Sleeve T-Shirt $50 AUD (similar linked)
You can never go wrong with a cropped tee and a pair of high waisted jeans! I purchased this top in Melbourne from the DFO for $20 i think #bargain and i loved it from the moment i laid eyes on it, i mean how could you not. can't wait for the warmer months to roll around so i can wear this again!

Calvin Klein Modern Cotton Bikini Briefs $29.95 & Calvin Klein Modern Cotton Bralette $49.95 AUD
i am all about that bralette life after work and on weekends so i just had to add this colour too my Calvin collection and what a colour it is!!! i really couldn't say no

H&M Sweatshirt with side slits  $24.95 AUD
this jumper was actually the first piece i picked up in this colour that started my obsession. i picked it up on a trip to Melbourne in March and i wish i brought 7 of them considering we don't have H&M here. i love the extra detail of the thick collar and side splits as they don't grab around the waste like  normal sweatshirts do, so it is so much easier to style this with jeans and casual wear i think.

H&M Block-Patterned Scarf $14.95 AUD
love the combo of the grey, white and pink. i pair this scarf with either a white long sleeve and some high waisted jeans or it is also cute with the missguided bodysuit mentioned in this post. it is also my go-to for work with a knitted jumper.

H&M Knitted Jumper $14.95 AUD (not online but similar linked)
this jumper was soooo cheap and its not as pink as my other blush items but its subtle and i like that. It is sheer but being winter i wear a long sleeve underneath anyway. definitely a bargain (just another reason i love H&M and wish we had it here)

Colette Hayman Mini Tote $54.99 AUD (similar linked)
to be honest i have only used this bag twice since i brought it but it is super cute and super mini!
i probably should use it more because blush but i just always use the same bag haha!

i hope you enjoyed this little post about all things blush/pink i am loving right now.
i know that some of the items may be hard to find if you want them exact but i hope you can find some inspo from them!

if you would like me to do more posts like this one then please let me know :) i would have loved to make this a blush look book instead of photos of the items but at this stage i don't have anyone to help me take photos in the small amount of time i have to take them wahhh

happy sunday everyone, i hope you have a lovely week! x

i thought i would share a few products/things i have been loving over the past 3 months. Some skincare and beauty (mostly beauty)

all photos were taken on an iPhone 7+ so sorry if they aren't super dooper in quality (i try)

*links for products included- hover over*

enjoy :)

SKINCARE

Clinque Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +  $49.00 AUD
i LOVE this moisturiser. I have been using it for a few months so far; i was using testers for a while before i finally committed. I use to really struggle to find a moisturiser that really hydrated my skin without leaving it oily and this one does exactly that. Clinque released it in both a lotion for very dry to combination skin and a gel for a combination oily to very oily, i brought both and rotate between the two depending on how my skin is feeling.

Clinque Take the Day off Makeup Remover  $35 AUD
I found this to be really easy and quick to take my eye makeup off. I use to use Garnier miceller water but wanted to try something new that contained less alcohol. I would totally recommend this to someone who hates taking their makeup off like i do

Clinque Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk $47.00 AUD
A cleansing milk is something i have never tried before and I'm not 100% set on it but it is growing on me. i find the concept of it quite weird to take makeup off but it does do the job. I do go over my face with a makeup wipe after though, just to make sure i have gotten everything. If you are someone who likes something that feels luxurious on your skin during your makeup removal process then give this a try.

Mario Badescu Skincare Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater $9 AUD
I picked this up in Melbourne in March and used in on and off for a while until i decided to include it my routine. I first saw Carli Bybel use this and had to give it a try. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and dewy and is super affordable. I definitely wouldn't use this as a finishing product for my makeup however it definitely is nice for a little pick me up during the day.

BEAUTY

Maybelline Express Remover  $7 AUD This nail polish remover is LIFE CHANGING. honestly it is so easy and 100x less messy compared to your average nail polish remover and cotton ball. Highly recommend for the girls who don't have shellac/acrylic want a super easy efficient way to take off their polish.

Bare Minerals Original SPF 15+ Foundation  $41 AUDI recently started using this after i saw Zoella mention it in her favourites video. I hadn't used a powder foundation for years, usually i just wear Estee Lauder Double Wear but i wanted to try something lighter and easy to apply for the days where I don't feel like having such a heavy base. This foundation gives SOO much coverage for a powder, I was quite surprised. For someone who has pretty dry skin usually, it left my skin looking dewy which i was really pleased about. It is super easy to apply, I use the Bare Minerals Beautiful Finish brush ($46 AUD) which is super soft and dense + bonus because of how it is designed prevents from product wastage. totally recommend both of these products!!!

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre $35 AUD
Love this for an eyeshadow base!! The queen @Nikkietutorials got me onto this and i totally see why its her holy grail. I never really had an issue with my eyeshadow not lasting before using this however since i have been i noticed that it makes the eyeshadow pop a little more and definitely withstand time. Soft Ochre is also the perfect shade as it is light but still warm enough to be neutral on the eyelid with its yellow undertones.  LOVE IT

MAC Matte Lipstick in Kinda Sexy $36 AUD
I am usually a Velvet Teddy kinda gal but amongst my shopping i came across this shade. Its the perfect balance between nude and pink ( i think anyway). I find if i wear a shade too pink it washes me out and im total nude girl so this was the ONE for me. I have been searching high and low for a matte shade that is a pinky nude and not super drying and you can just never go past a MAC matte. hands down one of the best formulas ever created. (Don't get me wrong i do love a good Kylie Lipkit but sometimes they are just too drying)

Tarte Tartelette in Bloom Clay Palette $69 AUD
I first heard about Tarte at the beginning of this year and LOVE their products. I picked up this palette back in March in Melbourne and i have hardly put it down since. it has the right amount of matte and shimmer shades for me (if  you haven't gathered i am more of a matte girl) and they are all so pigmented. The only thing that is a little UGH is there is a bit of fall out with the darker shades but then again its nothing too crazy. If you are into warm natural tones this is the palatte for you; although in saying that there are some darker shades but they are too die for!!! It comes in a little pricey but i say its totally worth it.

Inglot Freedom System Matte Eyeshadow in number 383 $12 AUD
ORANGE! this was my first shade in my Freedom System palette and it was literally life changing. I never thought i would be able to use and pull off an orange shade but i love it!!! these eyeshadows blend soooo well which makes it 100x easier to work with. This shade fits perfectly in with my neutral shades, it adds such a pop of colour and it has been perfect for autumn/winter. highly recommend starting your own freedom palette !

i am currently sitting in bed with a cup of tea on this hump day evening, thinking about how nice my little weekend away has just been.

my boyfriend, his family and i went up to Hahndorf (a little German inspired town) in the Adelaide Hills for the weekend. i am such a holiday/hotel person (even though i never go anywhere haha) so it was really nice to get away

we stayed in the cutest cottages called The Haus. One room was upstairs and one was down so it is the perfect place if you are travelling as a group and still want your own space. i am VERY picky with hotel rooms (ask my boyfriend opps) but this was a total win for me except the foxtel and wifi didn't work but oh well. it was even equipped with a double shower with wall jets; that i couldn't use because im too short /sigh.

The Haus

on saturday we arrived at like 8.30am (lets just talk about a 6am wake up on a saturday), had a nice brekky then it was time to explore. we headed over to Strathalbyn which is maybe a 20 minute drive further into the hills and is just a small town with a few nice antique shops. im not usually one for antiquing but it was cool to have a browse and see soooo much vintage stuff

i managed to find a CUTE homewares store along the way so i was happy (although the only thing i picked up from here were sunglasses). it still was my interior GOALS so i couldn't complain

after making our way back from Strath, we picked up some German hotdogs for lunch (obviously) and walked up and down the main street for a few hours browsing the very eclectic shops that Hahndorf has to offer, my favourite being the lolly shop Humbugs of course.  Dinner time saw us at the pub which German beer and schnitzels followed by bed by 9.30pm IDEAL.

basically the trip consisted of eating and eating and eating. we ate wayyyy too much but who doesn't love good food and good company.

hahndorf is such a cool little place. although i had been there a few times for day trips, i had never stayed there and fully experienced "hahndorf life". not going to lie im a total city girl so i could never live out there but it is nice to stay somewhere away from all the hustle (not really hustle) of adelaide and relax.

i hope you enjoy the sneak peak into our weekend away with the snaps taken. let me know where your ideal weekend away spot is away from all the craziness.
